Cloud Operations And Devops Engineer

Hive Technologies is seeking a Cloud Operations and DevOps Engineer to manage, optimize, and scale our cloud infrastructure. As we integrate with enterprise eCommerce platforms and serve thousands of customers, we need a skilled professional to ensure high availability, security, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Cloudinary).
✔ Optimize compute, storage, and networking resources to support high-volume API traffic.
✔ Implement autoscaling, load balancing, and caching strategies (e.g., AWS Auto Scaling, Redis).
✔ Manage cloud costs and optimize resource allocation to balance performance and budget.
✔ Oversee database operations (MongoDB, MySQL) with a focus on performance, backup, and replication.
✔ Ensure API security, authentication, and access controls using OAuth, JWT, and API rate limiting.
✔ Develop real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting processes for proactive system management.
✔ Improve deployment workflows using CI/CD pipelines, Docker, AWS Lambda for serverless options.
✔ Handle disaster recovery planning and failover strategies to maintain high uptime.
✔ Collaborate with the backend and product teams to support enterprise customer integrations.

Requirements:

✔ 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
✔ Expertise in Flask, MongoDB, MySQL, and API security best practices.
✔ Experience with scalable architectures, caching (Redis), and queueing systems (RabbitMQ, Celery).
✔ Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
✔ Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, security issues, and API failures.
✔ Knowledge of cloud cost optimization strategies for efficiency and budget control.
✔ Familiarity with real-time processing applications and large-scale SaaS deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

➤ Experience handling large-scale SaaS applications with high API demand.
➤ Knowledge of serverless computing (AWS Lambda, API Gateway).
➤ Prior experience in eCommerce or AI-powered SaaS platforms.
