Cloud Engineer

Description:

COE is responsible for the following major task:

· Performing daily O&M for creating customer’s VMS, operating system/application installation, security hardening with firewall/Antivirus.

· Install the Pfsense and other logical firewall in collaboration with Senior network engineer for security access rules creation and services.

· Attend Cloud customers complains & queries on calls or emails and provide them L1, L2 support.

· Handling day-to-day cloud operations health, uptime, monitoring, and Service Reliability for public and private cloud services

· Participate in on-call rotation, receiving and responding to daytime and after-hours alerts

· Schedule Cloud VMs Backups and make sure all backups are running on scheduled time through VEEAM replications software.

· Engage in problem resolution and root cause analysis of system and application incidents

· Provides support and troubleshoot problems for cloud operations including VM creation, VM Migration, VM Snapshot, pf sense firewall and other Vlan issues.

· Excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to stay focused on completing tasks and meeting goals within a busy workspace.

· Monitor Cloud VMs and Clusters and identify performance issues

· Managing the managed services for windows operating to various customer

· Working with Senior Manager to deliver the customer services including deployment, data export or import and other applications installation inside VM.

· Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

· Bachelor in Computer Sciences, Engineering

· Must have knowledge for virtualization including, ESXI, Xen, Hyper-V, KVMS, Open stack and etc.

· Minimum 1-2 years of experience for cloud implementation including deployment, migration and service deliveries for IaaS, PaaS or SaaS solutions

· knowledge of migrating conventional applications/ systems to the cloud

· Knowledge of switching on-premises infrastructure to a cloud

· Knowledge of leading security measures/ controls for cloud-based solutions.
