Clinical Coordinator

Description:

Shifa International Hospital Ltd., a pioneer in healthcare services, is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for the Outpatient Department (O.P.D). This is a full-time, entry-level role designed for individuals passionate about patient care, coordination, and hospital administration.

Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve patient concerns effectively.

• Ensure smooth facilitation and guidance for patients.

• Monitor departmental maintenance issues and coordinate necessary actions.

• Assess OPD operations, including registration and appointment management.

• Identify staff learning needs and assist in training and development.

• Collect and compile daily OPD operational data, including patient count, staffing, and consultant schedules.

• Ensure an efficient patient flow within clinics.

• Coordinate with doctors in cases of extended waiting times and facilitate patients accordingly.

• Liaise with Medical Records, Admissions, ER, and other departments for patient facilitation.

• Conduct daily area visits and perform spot checks.

• Prepare monthly and special clinical reports as required.

• Coordinate with consultants to adjust their schedules.

• Handle patient complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues to supervisors.

• Discuss staffing concerns with area managers.

• Perform additional duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in BBA, BS Accounting & Finance (4 years) from a recognized university.

• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
