Description:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Works Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of construction, maintenance, and civil engineering projects. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring the highest safety standards, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing site operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of civil works projects.
- Ensure that all work complies with the contract specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage and supervise on-site workers, including laborers and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and communicate with project managers, engineers, and clients regarding project progress and requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and ensure their implementation on the construction site.
- Oversee materials procurement, delivery, and storage to ensure they meet project requirements.
- Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Review and approve work schedules and provide regular updates on the project’s status.
- Ensure that all work is completed within the allocated time frame and budget.
- Handle site inspections and ensure proper documentation for quality control and safety audits.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly and effectively.
Qualifications:
- Diploma holder (DAE - Civil).
- Proven experience 4 to 5 years as a Civil/Building and renovation Works Supervisor or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
- Experience managing and leading teams in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in construction.
- IOSH, OSHA certificate holder will be preferred.
