As a Cisco Unified Communications Engineer responsible for migrating data from on-premises to the cloud, some of the key tasks and responsibilities you may be expected to fulfill include:

Conducting a thorough assessment of the existing on-premises infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and other relevant systems to identify potential issues and areas that require optimization or upgrades.

Planning and executing the migration of data and applications from on-premises to cloud-based platforms, ensuring that the process is completed smoothly and with minimal disruption to business operations.

Coordinating with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and business leaders, to ensure that the migration plan aligns with the organization's overall strategy and goals.

Ensuring that the migrated data and applications are fully functional and accessible in the cloud environment, with no data loss or corruption

Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the migration process, including connectivity problems, security issues, and data integrity concerns.

Creating and maintaining documentation of the migration process, including standard operating procedures, migration checklists, and post-migration validation processes.

Providing ongoing support for cloud-based systems and applications, including maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
