We are seeking a seasoned CTO with a robust background in mobile application development and a comprehensive understanding of organizational technology management to lead our dynamic team of developers. This critical role not only involves spearheading project initiatives and making strategic technical decisions but also overseeing all aspects of technology within Crownsoft. The CTO will ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and innovative mobile applications while playing an essential role in shaping the company's technological future.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of mobile application developers in creating high-quality, innovative applications.
- Create project scopes, estimate timelines and budgets, and plan development phases according to these timelines, ensuring projects are delivered before deadlines and are error-free.
- Adopt and implement Agile methodology in all development processes, ensuring flexibility, continuous improvement, and collaboration throughout the project life cycle.
- Oversee all aspects of technology within Crownsoft, ensuring the strategic alignment of technology with business goals.
- Establish roles within the IT department and create policies around technology infrastructure to support organizational needs.
- Research and develop important technologies to be implemented within the organization, enhancing operational efficiency and product innovation.
- Continuously educate themselves on technology topics, ensuring Crownsoft remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
- Analyze data to facilitate operations, making informed decisions to drive business success.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends to identify opportunities and threats in the technological landscape.
- Ensure data privacy and security, implementing best practices to protect sensitive information and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Communicate technology strategies to internal and external stakeholders, fostering an environment of transparency and collaboration.
- Monitor and manage technology budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to support strategic initiatives and maximize ROI.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Significant experience as a Tech Lead / CTO in mobile application development, supported by a solid portfolio of released applications.
- Expertise in mobile app development platforms and languages, such as React Native, Swift, Kotlin, and Flutter.
- Comprehensive understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in Agile development methodologies, with the ability to adapt and apply these principles effectively across projects.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee all aspects of technology within an organization, from infrastructure management to technology strategy and data security.
