Description:
The COO will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
- Collaborate with the CEO and other executives to establish long-term goals and operational plans.
Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations of various departments including production, quality control, supply chain, and logistics.
- Ensure that manufacturing processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet high-quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Financial Oversight:
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring financial performance aligns with strategic goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and financial health.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of managers and staff.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation throughout the organization.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all operations comply with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor health and safety protocols to protect employees and reduce risks.
Customer Focus:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high standards of product quality and service delivery.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to support customer needs and market demands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operational leadership role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing and optimizing manufacturing operations. Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L management.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
