Description:
Asia Insurance Company is seeking a highly qualified Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations. The ideal candidate must have strong financial expertise, regulatory knowledge, and leadership capabilities to drive the company's financial strategy, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Manage and mitigate risks associated with underwriting, investments, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead financial planning and analysis, providing insights for performance optimization.
- Oversee the investment portfolio, ensuring alignment with risk tolerance and financial goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assess and manage capital needs, including raising capital as necessary.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Play a key role in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including due diligence and integration.
- Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders, including the board, investors, analysts, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and relationships with financial institutions.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must fulfill at least one of the following criteria:
- A member of a recognized body of professional accountants.
- A postgraduate degree in Finance from a recognized university or equivalent.
- As required by the Code of Corporate Governance.
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar capacity or leadership role in finance.
- Experience in the Insurance Industry / Financial Sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of Insurance Laws and Companies Act.
