Amoosajee Sons is seeking a Cashier to join their team at Dolmen Mall Tariq Road. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills and the ability to efficiently handle transactions while ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for managing sales transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will play a key role in providing a positive customer experience and ensuring that store policies and procedures are followed effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Customer Service & Sales Transactions – Welcome customers warmly and assist them in making purchases by efficiently scanning items and processing transactions.
✔ Payment Handling – Collect payments through cash, debit cards, and credit cards, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
✔ Cash Management – Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, maintaining accurate financial records.
✔ Issue Resolution – Address and resolve customer complaints or inquiries professionally and efficiently.
✔ Return & Refund Processing – Manage return transactions as per company policies.
✔ Assistance to Sales Staff – Support the sales team during peak hours or when unexpected customer flow occurs.
✔ Pricing & Information Support – Provide pricing details and answer customer queries regarding products and promotions.
✔ Policy Compliance – Ensure checkout operations comply with company policies and procedures while reporting any necessary changes.
✔ Attendance Record Keeping – Maintain manual attendance records of the staff.
✔ Customer Engagement – Provide a polite and friendly farewell to customers after completing their transactions.
✔ Branch Transfers – Manage cash transfers between branches in case of cashier unavailability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Strong customer service skills with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
✅ Ability to handle cash and process card payments accurately.
✅ Good mathematical and problem-solving skills.
✅ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing transactions.
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
✅ Basic understanding of point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
✅ Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
