Key Responsibilities:
- Actively promote and sell cargo services to both new and existing clients, working towards achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics, identifying new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the advantages of the company’s cargo services.
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with clients to maintain competitive rates while ensuring profitability.
- Provide ongoing customer support by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end sales experience.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and quick resolution of any operational challenges.
- Explore and pursue new business opportunities, including entry into new markets or client segments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or a relevant field (BBA or MBA preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in cargo sales.
- Strong existing network within the cargo industry is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of cargo services, pricing structures, and logistics operations. Familiarity with international air freight and customs procedures will be an advantage.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple client accounts, and meet sales targets under pressure.
- Professional appearance and proactive attitude with a strong drive to succeed.
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
