Cad Technician

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Create, modify, and maintain detailed CAD drawings for construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure accuracy in drawings.
• Review and update CAD files to reflect changes in project scope or design.
• Ensure all drawings meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Manage and organize CAD files and documentation to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations as needed.
• Perform quality checks on drawings to identify and correct any discrepancies or errors.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Strong understanding of construction & fire fighting drawings, blueprints, and building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant certification or degree in CAD, drafting, or a related field is preferred.
