Business Intelligence Developer

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Intelligence Developer located in Karachi Division. The Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for tasks such as data modeling, creating dashboards, utilizing analytical skills, working with data warehousing, and performing "Extract Transform Load" (ETL) processes.

Job Responsibilities:

· Design and develop data models to support business reporting and analytical requirements.

· Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards.

· Integrate data from various sources into the BI system, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.

· Optimise queries and data retrieval processes to enhance the performance of BI reports and dashboards.

· Implement and maintain security measures to ensure data confidentiality and integrity within the BI environment.

· Create and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and BI development processes.

· Provide training and support to end-users on how to use BI reports and dashboards effectively.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a similar role using Power BI.

· Proficiency in BI technologies, such as Qlik View. Oracle BI would be an added advantage.

· Knowledge of data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and data mining.

· In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP, and ETL framework.

· Strong SQL skills and experience with reporting services and data integration.

· Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python, .NET) for data visualisation.
