Business Engineer

Description:

• In your role as a Business Engineer, you will work in our customer program.
• In close cooperation with our customers, you will investigate business requirements, problems, and opportunities and seek effective new business solutions or improvements in existing solutions or business processes.
• In your daily duties, you will participate in customer workshops and meetings to gather business requirements. You are capable of translating requirements into detailed system requirements and solutions. You are good at documenting business requirements proactively, ensuring traceability back to a source. As a Business Engineer, you represent the customer’s voice to development and testing teams.

Requirements

• Good understanding of telecommunication business domains such as Order Capture, Order Fulfilment, and Orchestration, Customer Relationship Management, Product Management, or Revenue Management (Billing & Rating)
• Ability to define high-level flow charts, sequence diagrams, BPMN, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), and knowledge in understanding interface designs (REST, SOAP)
• Enthusiasm for customer-facing interaction with the business stakeholders
• Provide clarification and act as a point of reference for business requirement/solution inquiries by project delivery teams.
• Knowledge of business analysis principles and methodologies
• Documenting and designing functional requirements, use cases and detailed design specifications.
• Participates whole lifecycle of delivering Business Support Solutions; bringing in the customer insights to the Qvantel product development and supporting them turning those into new Qvantel product features or customization points.
