Description:
We’re looking for a skilled and energetic Business Development Team Lead to help lead a team driving our sales and business growth. Main duties will include team management, developing business strategies and pitches, managing a variety of projects, and identifying new business opportunities. BDA Team lead will work closely with Sales Development Leads and oversee the delivery of the qualified accounts to them which in the future will be qualified as won opportunity.
The successful applicant will be resourceful, organized and motivated to support the BDA team and collaborate with stakeholders, enhance the company's reputation, and look for new and creative ways to market our products. A background in sales or marketing is strongly desirable.
What you will do at Deel:
- Leading a team of Business Development Associates who will be conducting detailed market research, identifying new business opportunities and market trends and enriching leads for SDR.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team and track team’s performance as per set KPIs/OKRs.
- Becoming an expert of the Deel product offerings, so that you can enable Business Development Associates to deliver effective leads and enriched accounts to our stakeholders.
- Serving as a point of contact for collaborations with SDR teams, establishing performance and quality standards of BDA processes.
- Qualifying leads by assessing their needs, budget, and decision-making processes.
- Working closely with marketing, product development, and other teams to align business development strategies.
- Providing feedback and insights to help improve products and services.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies, client service and retention plans, and analyzing sales data to inform or update marketing strategies.
- Assist with drafting business processes, making sure that there is an alignment between all stakeholders on the client research
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
- Providing training, feedback, and coaching to the Business Development associates for continuous learning and development.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
You'll be successful if:
- You have proven experience leading a Business Development, Sales or similar operations team within a rapidly-growing company in a Team Lead or Manager role for at least 2 years.
- You have a track record of managing your team to meet or exceed operational efficiency and goals in a high growth setting.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, sourcing , data analysis or a related role.
- Ability to analyze market data, financial reports, and other relevant information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- You are a flexible team player, and enjoy working on a diverse team.
- You have the ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation, and verbal formats to customers and team members.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other business development tools.
