We are seeking a proactive Business Development Specialist to join our team. The candidate will focus on identifying and generating new business through various online platforms such as Guru.com, Upwork, LinkedIn, Freelancer, Toptal, Fiverr, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media and professional networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Engagement:
- Identify and qualify new leads through platforms like Guru.com, Upwork, LinkedIn, Freelancer, Toptal, Fiverr, and more.
- Engage with potential clients through social media channels like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and industry-specific forums.
- Implement lead generation strategies across various online and offline channels.
- Bidding & Proposal Management:
- Independently bid on projects on platforms such as Guru.com, Upwork, LinkedIn, Freelancer, Toptal, and others.
- Craft compelling proposals and work with the technical team to develop customized solutions.
- Negotiate terms and conditions to secure lucrative agreements.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Foster relationships through regular follow-up and engagement on various platforms.
- Address client concerns promptly and maintain a strong presence on social media channels to enhance brand image.
- Market Research & Analysis:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities on platforms like Behance, Dribbble, Stack Overflow, and other professional networks.
- Analyze market opportunities to identify new avenues for growth.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate with various departments and report on progress and forecasts through CRM tools and data-driven insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 1+ years of experience in business development within the IT industry.
- Proficient in using online platforms like Guru.com, Upwork, LinkedIn, etc.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
