Business Development Specialist

 

Description:

The role is expected to have a focus on hunting new businesses, building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.

 

·      Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business

·      Work with and expand current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads & exceed sales targets for the business

·      Develop a sales contact plan direct marketing, and attending industry events to build relationships with key prospects

·      Formulate and implement business development, marketing and sales strategies that can generate new business opportunities.

·      Assist in business negotiations.

·      Develop and monitor overseas subsidiaries, and other business development.

·      Respond to incoming Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner

·      Negotiating and re-negotiating by phone, email, and in person

·      Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.

·      Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

·      Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.

·      Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s practice leaders

·      Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.

·      Provide regular feedback to senior management about marketplace and competitor activity

·      Be able to meet KPI’s (Growth: Increase in customers, revenue)

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelors

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of Sales/Business Development preferably B2B.

Skills: Effective communication in English.  IT fluency. The ability to solve complex problems creatively, handling both pressure and time constraints. Attention to detail and excellent organization skills. Persistence.
