We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Developer to join our team and drive growth in key regions, including Canada, Zimbabwe, Australia, and the UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring successful market penetration. Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Lead Management:
- Respond promptly to all WhatsApp messages for designated regions.
- Conduct cold calls to potential clients to establish new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and follow-ups.
Market Research & Lead Generation:
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify potential clients and market trends.
- Generate lead lists from various sources, such as Yellow Pages, Google, and Ads.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage client data efficiently and ensure a high response rate.
Email & Presentation Development:
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns to target leads effectively.
- Create engaging presentations for pitching clients, ensuring alignment with marketing standards.
- Conduct initial requirement-gathering sessions with prospective clients.
Online Platforms Management:
- Oversee and optimize the company's LinkedIn/Upwork profile:
- Plan posts in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Manage comments and generate leads.
- Manage the company’s LinkedIn/Upwork accounts by identifying opportunities and bidding on relevant projects.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Track and report the status of proposals and other business development components to leadership.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on lead performance metrics and market research.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- 1-3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong presentation skills with an ability to pitch ideas and solutions effectively.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic work setting.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and Upwork platforms for professional networking and project acquisition.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):
- Experience in international markets or exposure to clients from multiple regions.
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and tools.
- Previous experience in managing online bidding platforms like Upwork.
