Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Business Development & Partnerships Lead role located in Karāchi. As the Business Development & Partnerships Lead, you will work directly with MICADR's senior management and will be responsible for building and maintaining business relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors. You will also be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and expanding MICADR's corporate membership base, negotiating contracts, and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to draft and execute strategic business, marketing, course, and budget plans.
• Support the Center in forming new partnerships with external sponsors.
• Draft policy documents and agreements with key members and potential partners
• Prepare operational and strategic presentations/reports.
• Identify and draft proposals for possible research collaborations across centres/schools.
Internal and External Communications and Partnerships
• Onboard potential corporates across various industries (energy, banking, B2B, start-ups, venture capital firms etc) as MICADR members
• Lead and facilitate communication between MICADR and potential and existing members
• Escalate business development and partnership concerns with the relevant faculty members and stakeholders.
• Improve and deploy unique external communication mechanisms with all key MICADR stakeholders (courts, corporate members, beneficiaries, empanelled service providers etc)
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and tailoring our solutions accordingly.
Sales & Negotiation
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure
• Develop & deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value of our digital learning products
Market Research & Marketing
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and partnerships
• Analyse industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to refine our product strategy
• Work with the central communications department and different stakeholders to develop and implement a marketing and branding strategy for MICADR
• Define strategic goals for business development keeping in mind the Center's vision, values and market demand.
• Plan the marketing & outreach strategies for MICADR services to increase our reach.
• Lead the design of high-quality customer-ready materials to support B2C & B2B sales and marketing efforts
Performance Metrics & Reporting
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of business development initiatives
• Provide regular reports to the leadership team on market trends, competitor activities, and progress towards business development goals
Knowledge and Skills:
• Knowledge of Business Development with a focus on B2B sales and previous background in the corporate servicing sector will be an asset.
