This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer. We are seeking a proactive and experienced BDO with a strong background in Business Development and Lead generation through platforms like LinkedIn and freelance marketplaces such as Upwork, Fiverr, People Per Hour, Freelancer, Bark etc.

Responsibilities:
Business Development:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the digital space.
• Utilize LinkedIn and other freelance platforms for effective lead generation.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Lead Generation:

• Leverage LinkedIn and other platforms to identify and connect with potential clients.
• Engage in outreach campaigns to generate leads and build a robust client pipeline.

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Present customized solutions to meet client needs and objectives.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to enhance the company's offerings.

Reporting:

• Provide regular reports on business development activities, lead generation, and results.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience (6 months to 1+ years) in business development with a focus on business development in a digital agency or software house.
• Expertise in utilizing LinkedIn, Social Media and other freelance platforms for lead generation.
• Strong understanding of digital services like Graphic Design, UI/UX, Web Design, Custom Web Development via WordPress, Shopify, and other stacks such as LAMP and MERN.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving business growth within digital agencies or software houses. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a knack for identifying and nurturing potential clients.
