Description:
The Business Development Officer at the University of Bolton, Islamabad Campus, will play a pivotal role in driving the institution's growth and sustainability by developing strategic partnerships, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new opportunities for business expansion. The role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with strong communication, marketing, and negotiation skills to promote the university’s programs and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage partnerships with academic institutions, industries, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to promote the university’s programs and initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase student enrollment across all programs by identifying new markets, organizing outreach events, and working with local and international recruitment agents.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities. Provide actionable insights to the university leadership for market positioning and program development.
- Enhance the visibility and reputation of the University of Bolton in Islamabad and the broader region through marketing campaigns, public relations efforts, and digital presence management.
- Prepare proposals for partnerships, collaborations, and funding opportunities with external organizations. Liaise with corporate and government bodies to secure grants, sponsorships, and investment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with alumni to encourage their participation in university events, donations, and mentorship programs.
- Organize and manage university events, including open houses, seminars, career fairs, and industry linkages to enhance the university’s engagement with the public and industry stakeholders.
- Track and analyze performance metrics related to student recruitment, partnership success, and financial growth. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or a related role, preferably in the education sector.
- Strong understanding of the higher education market in Pakistan, particularly in international collaborations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing, social media platforms, and CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
