Business Development Manager

 

Description:

As a Business Development Executive at Ebaad Digital, you will play a key role in driving

the growth and success of our company. Your responsibilities will include identifying and

pursuing new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and

promoting our software solutions and services. Your primary focus will be on generating

leads, securing new clients, and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential clients and market segments; prospect for new business

opportunities on platforms such as LinkedIn, Angel List, Apollo, Crunchbase,

Upwork, and others to secure projects.

• Research, identify, and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other platforms

that align with Ebaad Digital core services.

• Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and

competitor activities.

• Engage with potential clients to build trust, clarify their project requirements, and

arrange follow-up discussions as necessary.

• Maintain and update proposal templates, ensuring each submission is tailored to

maximize conversion.

• Respond promptly and maintain regular communication with clients, managing

pre- and post-bid communication effectively.

• Track, analyze, and report on bid success rates and other key metrics to refine and

improve bidding strategies.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with international clients, especially in

the USA and Canada understanding their needs and identifying upselling or cross-

selling opportunities.

• Regularly provide sales forecasts and progress reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business

Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

• 2 to 4 years’ experience as a Business Developer or in a similar role within the

software industry on Upwork or similar freelancing platforms, with a successful

history of project acquisition.

• Exceptional written communication skills, focused on clear, persuasive, and client-

centered language.

• Solid understanding of software development services, digital marketing, or

technology-related fields.

• Skilled in conducting client research, assessing project needs, and crafting tailored,

relevant responses.

• Self-driven, proactive, and skilled in effective time management.

• Knowledge of proposal management tools and CRM software is an advantage.
