Description:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our student recruitment services in the USA, Canada, and Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing partnerships with educational institutions, generating leads, and driving the overall recruitment strategy in these regions. This role requires a deep understanding of the international education market, excellent networking skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Development: Identify and develop business opportunities with educational institutions, universities, and language schools in the USA, Canada, and Europe.
- Student Recruitment: Oversee and improve the student recruitment process, ensuring consistent and high-quality student placement for international programs.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including universities, agents, and other educational partners.
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve recruitment targets in the assigned regions.
- Lead Generation & Networking: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, attend educational fairs, and represent the agency in international events.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and annual recruitment targets and KPIs.
- Client Management: Act as the primary contact for educational institutions and students throughout the recruitment process, from initial consultation to placement.
- Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns that attract students to study abroad.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business development activities, student placements, and market trends for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or student recruitment.
- Experience working with educational institutions, especially in the USA, Canada, or Europe, is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of international education systems and student recruitment processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
- Ability to travel internationally when needed.
