Description:
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the software industry and a proven ability to drive business growth through generating leads, building relationships, closing deals, and delivering impactful presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to increase revenue and expand our client base.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the software development sector.
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking, referrals, calling, and attending industry events.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Develop innovative approaches to reach target audiences through digital marketing and networking.
- Drive the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
- Work closely with the technical team to understand client needs and propose effective IT solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, RFP responses, and business cases to potential clients.
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the software industry.
- Represent the company at conferences, trade shows, and other industry events.
- Maintain detailed records of business development activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular updates on business development activities, sales performance, and market conditions.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in business development within a software house or related environment.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to launch and scale business initiatives.
- Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals in the software industry and In-depth knowledge of software development life cycles, methodologies, and technologies.
- Proven track record in the software services industry, demonstrating success in client acquisition, solution selling, and driving business growth within a competitive market landscape.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding presentation skills and a professional, personable demeanor.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
