Knowledge Platform is seeking a result-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team, targeting the B2B, B2B2C, and B2G markets in the education landscape of Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the public and private sectors and building long-term relationships with high-end clients. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive growth and contribute to our mission of revolutionizing education through innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities within the public and private sectors, specifically in the education landscape.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and expand market presence.
Public Private Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with officials, education departments, and key stakeholders.
- Navigate the public procurement process and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Client Engagement and Management:
- Identify, approach, and engage potential clients to introduce our educational products and services.
- Maintain long-term relationships with high-end clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering loyalty.
Proposal and Contract Management:
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, bids, and presentations tailored to the needs of government clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and compliance with legal standards.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on business development activities, providing regular updates on progress towards targets.
- Analyze performance data to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the public or private sector.
- Proven track record of building and managing long-term relationships with high-end clients, particularly in the education sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting detailed proposals and reports.
- Strong understanding of government procurement processes and regulatory requirements.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed targets.
- Sharp analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a results-oriented approach.
- Flexibility to travel as required to meet clients.
