Business Development Manager

 

Description:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including website management, SEO optimization, social media engagement, content creation, design, database management, email marketing, client feedback management, financial tracking, and more.

 

This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Website Management: Handle back-end operations, update content, manage directories, track performance, and implement SEO strategies.

 

Social Media Engagement: Manage platforms, create content, schedule posts, provide workshops on best practices, and maintain updated profiles.

 

Content Creation: Proofread and coordinate marketing materials, propose updates to website copy, edit news articles, and prepare credentials statements.

 

Design Tasks: Create visuals, oversee slide deck redesigns, update designs for marketing materials, and layout documents.

 

Database Management: Maintain credentials database, prepare dashboards, track figures, and manage marketing contacts list.

 

Email Marketing: Develop and execute campaigns, design newsletter layouts, send newsletters, and track engagement.

 

Miscellaneous Projects: Support various initiatives, coordinate firm events, liaise with marketing groups, and instill best practices.

 

Analysis and Reporting: Monitor fee earners' marketing activities, suggest marketing targets, report to partnership, and track client feedback.

 

Finance and ESG: Budget and report marketing expenditures, track spending, and stay updated on ESG trends.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

- 3-5 years of PQE in business development in a B2B service-based environment is essential.

 

 

- Background in law is preferred but not mandatory. A masters in business or related fields is preffered.

 

- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

 

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
