Business Development Executive (Institutional Sales)
- Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by our company
- Collaborating with sales team to secure, retain, and grow accounts
- Attracting new clients by innovating and overseeing the sales process for the business
- Working with senior team members to identify and manage company risks that might prevent growth
- Identifying and researching opportunities that come up in new and existing markets
- Preparing and delivering pitches and presentations to potential new clients
- Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department.
- Maintaining meaningful relationships with existing clients to ensure that they are retained.
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems
- Creating positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients
- Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business needs
- Ensuring excellent customer service through regular client follow up
- Owning the sales lifecycle from prospecting to implementation
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients
- Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes.
- Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce, Trello, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as a business development executive, sales executive or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Proficiency in English
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Time management and planning skills
- At least Graduate and 2 years’ experience in Sales Filed
