eSpark Consulting Group is seeking a talented and experienced Business Developer with Technical bidder expertise. As a Business Developer with Technical Bidder expertise, you will play a critical role in driving our company's growth by identifying new business opportunities, preparing technical bids and proposals, and fostering client relationships. You will work closely with our technical teams to understand our capabilities and tailor proposals to meet client needs. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, business acumen, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients and market segments.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy.
- Estimate project costs based on gathered specifications
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends.
- Prepare technical bids and proposals in response to client requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for quotations (RFQs).
- Collaborate with technical teams to gather technical details and ensure accurate and compelling bid submissions.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client needs and requirements, and tailor proposals to address their specific challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and technical teams, to achieve business development goals.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities and results.
- Participate in regular sales and strategy meetings to contribute to company growth.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
- Experience working on different bidding platforms including Freelancer.com Upwork, Fiver, and other platforms.
- Knowledge of Trello, Slack, or JIRA.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting technical proposals and bids.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field
Experience: 1 year of experience as a technical bidder and business developer
