Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time on-site role for our office in Lahore. The Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing business processes and requirements, gathering and documenting business requirements, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure business needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and objectives.
- Analyze existing business processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
- Develop process models, flowcharts, and diagrams to visualize and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed requirement specifications, including user stories, use cases, functional requirements, and non-functional requirements.
- Ensure clarity, completeness, and feasibility of requirements.
- Engage with stakeholders to validate requirements, clarify ambiguities, and resolve conflicts.
- Facilitate effective communication between business users, developers, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide input on system design, user interface, and data models to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Use data visualization techniques to present findings and make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.
- Support the testing phase by developing test cases, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring that solutions meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with QA teams to resolve issues and perform defect tracking.
- Assess the impact of proposed changes on business processes, systems, and stakeholders.
- Develop change management strategies and support the implementation of new processes and technologies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends.
- Identify process optimization, automation, and innovation opportunities to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification(s) in a relevant field will be considered a plus (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
- Proven experience of at least 3-5 years as a Business Analyst or similar role preferably handling e-Commerce projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of business process modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN) and tools.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience in data analysis, including data modeling, SQL queries, and data visualization tools (Google BigQuery, Data Studio, Power BI …).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and teams.
- Robust documentation and presentation skills to create clear and concise requirement specifications.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Business acumen and understanding of industry-specific challenges and trends.
