Business Analyst

 

Description:

As a Business Analyst - I, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving technical solutions within S&P Global’s CRM system. The role involves identifying operational improvement opportunities, leveraging technology, and enhancing the quality of business processes and applications. The focus is on supporting CRM and Order-to-Cash tools, primarily Salesforce, to ensure commercial operations excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CRM Support: Support S&P Global’s critical CRM system, ensuring operational excellence in Commercial Operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with end users, product owners, and development teams to resolve issues and improve system functionality.
  • Incident Resolution: Actively manage the resolution of critical incidents as part of the technical support team.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documents, including Knowledge Base articles and Playbooks.
  • Month-End Process: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the effective execution of the month-end close process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancements and process improvements.
  • User Feedback: Gather and analyze user feedback to drive system improvements.
  • Technology Research: Stay updated on current technology trends to enhance the CRM system’s capabilities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience working with Salesforce and/or technical support teams.
  • Skills:
    • Basic understanding of Agile practices and testing processes.
    • Strong communication skills to articulate problems and solutions.
    • Ability to work with clients to enhance business processes.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Team Skills: Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CPQ or other OTC Applications.
  • Understanding of the role of a Business Analyst in a support team.
  • Salesforce application knowledge (Opportunity Management or Quote Management is a plus).
