Backend Wordpress Developer

Description:

We're looking for a skilled Backend WordPress Developer to focus on building, maintaining, and scaling our WordPress-powered websites and applications. You'll work closely with our frontend team to ensure seamless integration and deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

Technical:

1. Develop, test, and deploy WordPress plugins and themes

2. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code

3. Integrate third-party APIs and services

4. Optimize website performance, security, and scalability

5. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Collaboration:

1. Work with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration

2. Collaborate with designers to implement design concepts

3. Communicate with project managers to meet project deadlines

4. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

WordPress Expertise:

1. In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, plugins, and themes

2. Experience with WordPress APIs (REST, GraphQL)

3. Familiarity with WordPress coding standards and best practices

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in WordPress development

2. Strong PHP skills (WordPress, Laravel, or similar)

3. Proficiency in MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

4. Experience with version control systems (Git)

5. Familiarity with agile development methodologies
