Backend Developer

Description:

Blockmob Labs is a development firm specializing in web3 and blockchain development. We develop custom solutions involving smart contracts, decentralized apps, NFTs, Defi, wallets, and other blockchain products. We’re looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Backend Developer to join our growing team, someone eager to learn and contribute to dynamic projects.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js, Express, or other backend technologies.

- Assist in building and optimizing APIs to communicate with frontend and external services.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and blockchain engineers to integrate user-facing elements.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software.

- Support the team with backend deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning and reviews.

- Continuously improve existing codebase and infrastructure through refactoring and optimization.

- Learn new tools and technologies as needed, adapting quickly to project requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Basic understanding of backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc.).

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.

- Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and version control tools like Git.

- Understanding of blockchain or interest in decentralized technologies is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
