Backend Developer

Description:

Right Solution is in search of a Backend Developer to join our team. The candidate understands how to on WordPress or Shopify client websites as a backend developer using tools of the trade to deliver custom solutions for our customers.

IMPORTANT. This position is for a PHP backend developer to cater to WordPress or Shopify projects only.

Skills required:

· Strong knowledge of PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript

· High level PHP coder with OOP concepts.

· Hands on experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL/Mongo DB and/or Oracle Databases

· Must have experience with Apache, Nginx

· Database schema design by better scalability

· JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX and Prototype.

· Experience 3rd party APIs, oAuth services, SOAP, and Restful Web services.

· Theme functions, template files, hooks, action, filter.

· Must be able to work on new plugins or Module Development & Customization for new features.

· Coding, versioning, and deployment of software hot fixes, bug fixes, and enhancements.

· Ability to work independently with multi-tasking.

· Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

· Knows CMS like Joomla, WordPress, Opencart, and Prestashop.

· Frameworks like (Codeignitor/Symfony).

· Experience writing and integrating unit tests.

· GIT version control.

· Linux command line and SSH.

• Strong problem-solving and efficient programming skills.
• Can work independently without much guidance.
• Highly motivated to complete projects/tasks on time.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience.
