Key Responsibilities:

 

·      Database planning, creation, parsing and maintenance.

·      Developing and maintaining robust and scalable backend solutions using Laravel and RESTful APIs.

·      Collaborating with the front-end development team to design and implement APIs that meet the requirements of the application- APIs creation, parsing and troubleshooting.

·      Writing clean well-documented and modular back-end functionality code

·      Participating in code reviews and testing to ensure the quality of the codebase.

·     Work with other developers to implement solutions-Troubleshooting and debugging production issues as needed.

·      Staying up to date on emerging technologies, latest industry trends and best practices.

 

Skills And Requirements:

 

·      4-5 years of experience in PHP backend development with a strong emphasis on Laravel and RESTful APIs.

·      Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

·      Understanding the fully synchronous behaviour of PHP.

·      Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies is a plus.

·      Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

·      Knowledge of object-oriented programming.

·      Understanding accessibility and security compliance.

·      Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.

·      Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

·      User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.

·      Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.

·      Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.

·      Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes.

·      Solid understanding of database concepts and experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL

·      Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - GIT.

·      Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·      Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
