Role Description
- Develop and Execute Test Plans: Create detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Automate Test Scripts: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using industry-standard tools.
- Execute Tests: Execute automated test scripts and manually test as necessary to validate software functionality and performance.
- Identify and Report Bugs: Identify, document, and track software defects using a bug tracking system. Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA team members, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality software.
- Maintain Test Frameworks: Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to ensure robust and scalable test automation.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation and software quality assurance. Continuously improve test automation processes and tools.
- Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing to identify and address performance bottlenecks in the software.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
