Description:

Zero-Point Partners is hiring an Associate (2-4 years of experience) to support sustainability & climate finance projects for diverse industry clients. The Associate will support business development, proposal writing and end-to-end project execution including research & data analysis, climate & ESG due diligence, greenhouse gas emissions accounting, decarbonization strategy and disclosure.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, a strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Economics or Environmental Science; Master's degree preferred

• Excellent research, analytical and writing skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions and formulae

• Ability to work independently, paying close attention to detail and bearing independent responsibility for data accuracy

• Ability to travel to sites for field visits

• Prior knowledge of the GHG Protocol, science-based emissions-reduction targets, carbon markets, and an understanding of ESG standards and reporting requirements will be an asset
