Description:
Ingredion, a Fortune 500 global provider of ingredient solutions, is seeking a qualified and proactive Asst. Warehouse Officer (Finished Goods) to join its operations team at the Finished Goods Warehouse. This role is critical to the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of finished goods and packaging materials, ensuring that warehouse activities align with the company’s quality, safety, and customer service standards.
The selected candidate will work directly under the Sr. Warehouse Officer (Finished Goods/Stores) and manage a team of 5 individuals. This position demands a high level of coordination, attention to detail, and operational excellence to support Ingredion’s mission of delivering sustainable and high-quality ingredient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the receipt of inbound goods from production, follow defined storage protocols, and record all transactions in SAP.
Prepare and manage authorization slips for contractor access and material handling.
Manage warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety, cleanliness, and storage standards (food and pharma-grade).
Fulfill domestic and export customer orders, targeting Perfect Order and DIFOT (Delivered In Full On Time) KPIs.
Enhance dispatch quality, aiming for zero customer complaints, particularly for food-grade products.
Ensure effective logistics planning, handling both inbound and outbound movements in accordance with FIFO/FEFO principles.
Coordinate with production teams for space management and off-code stock processing (repacking or write-off).
Maintain all warehouse equipment (MHE) and liaise with service providers to minimize downtime.
Ensure warehouse readiness for internal/external audits and manage emergency situations effectively.
Keep physical stock aligned with SAP through regular cycle counts and adjustments in coordination with inventory controllers.
Support Integrated Pest Management activities and uphold high hygiene standards.
Contribute to logistics optimization, layout improvements, hazard identification, and continuous operational enhancements.
Execute special assignments and projects given by management.
Strategically allocate and monitor manpower to ensure task completion and team efficiency.
Track and report KPIs to evaluate performance and make informed improvements.
People Management:
Make timely decisions to enhance team productivity.
Foster collaboration with 3P contractors and engage team members in problem-solving.
Clearly communicate job expectations, provide performance feedback, and coach staff for growth.
Apply disciplinary actions when necessary to maintain productivity and compliance.
Support policy and procedure implementation, and ensure adherence to systems and productivity standards.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management or a relevant field.
Experience: 2–4 years in inventory/stores/warehouse operations.
Technical Skills: Strong SAP/ERP knowledge; logistics coordination; inventory tracking.
Language: Proficient in written and spoken English.
Key Skills: Attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, team collaboration, analytical thinking.
