Assistant Quality Control Manager

Description:

A well-established pharmaceutical company based in Lahore is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Quality Control Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of pharmaceutical products, maintaining strict adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and managing quality control operations to ensure product compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

• Conducting rigorous testing and quality checks on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished pharmaceutical products.

• Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining quality documentation, reports, and SOPs.

• Leading a team of quality control analysts and technicians to maintain high-quality work standards.

• Investigating deviations, non-conformities, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.

• Collaborating with other departments such as Production, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs to ensure smooth quality operations.

• Ensuring timely calibration, maintenance, and validation of laboratory equipment.

• Training junior staff on quality procedures and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).

Requirements:

• Pharm-D degree or Bachelor's in Chemistry from a recognized institution.

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant industry experience, with at least 2 years in the same role.

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical quality control procedures, GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
