Assistant Manager Projects

 

Description:

If you're a seasoned project manager with excellent communication skills, and a basic understanding of solution architecture, QA, BA, and related areas, as well as expertise in Agile and Scrum-based project management, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with project managers to plan, execute, and oversee projects in the software development lifecycle, utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including solution architects, QA analysts, business analysts, and developers to ensure project success.
- Facilitate client and internal communication, serving as a primary point of contact for project updates, feedback, and requirements gathering.
- Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor project progress against these parameters, with a focus on Agile project management principles.
- Act as a liaison between project stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and bottlenecks that may impact project delivery, utilizing Agile and Scrum-based techniques for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Provide support and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment grounded in Agile values and principles.
- Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key milestones, achievements, and challenges, with a focus on Agile metrics and performance indicators.

Job Specification / Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within a software development environment, with expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture, QA processes, business analysis, and related areas.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools and software.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead Agile teams and drive results
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification (preferred but not required).
