Role Description

  • Record all purchase vouchers and expenses accurately.
  • Verify and ensure efficient, timely payments while adhering to SOPs and Withholding Tax requirements.
  • Initiate and maintain the Fixed Asset Register for the organization.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and maintenance of assets.
  • Monitor Withholding Tax deductions per applicable sections and rates.
  • Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, and verify financial data.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate daily bookkeeping and record-keeping.
  • Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure receipt of goods or services before issuing payments.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA, and ACCA in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles in education industry.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
