Smollan is looking for a passionate and strategic HR professional to join its team as an Assistant Manager – HR. This role is ideal for individuals with strong expertise in HR strategy, talent management, and workforce optimization, particularly in the Retail or FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
  • Oversee key position hiring while ensuring compliance with HR policies.
  • Facilitate career pathing and talent pool management.
  • Maintain audit readiness and drive HR process standardization.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through employee relations and conflict resolution.

Requirements:

  • 4–5 years of generalist HR experience, preferably in Retail or FMCG.
  • Strong knowledge of BCEA & LRA (labor laws and compliance).
  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and MS Office.
  • Expertise in recruitment, training, compensation & benefits, and labor relations.
