Tufail Starchem Industries Pvt Ltd is currently seeking an Assistant Manager – Material and Logistics for its plant located at Lahore. This pivotal role involves overseeing material planning, logistics, and inventory management to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing supply chain activities, optimizing logistics processes, and liaising with suppliers to maintain a steady supply chain. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for ensuring materials are available on time, coordinating between suppliers, production teams, and vendors, and improving logistics and warehouse processes for enhanced efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee material planning, inventory, and logistics operations, ensuring the timely availability of materials.
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and production teams to sustain an uninterrupted supply chain.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand forecasts, and plan procurement accordingly.
• Implement improvements in logistics and warehouse management to enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all logistics operations.

Requirements:

• MBA in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in materials and logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in SAP S4 HANA systems for inventory and logistics management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
