Asr Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) Voice AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building wake word models from scratch and will be instrumental in advancing our voice AI capabilities. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying ASR models that enhance the user experience by accurately detecting wake words and interpreting intents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize wake word detection models for our voice AI health tech application.

• Design and build intent recognition models to accurately understand user commands.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ASR models into the existing application framework.

• Conduct rigorous testing and evaluation of ASR models to ensure high accuracy and reliability.

• Continuously monitor and improve the performance of deployed models.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in speech recognition technology and machine learning.

• Document processes, models, and code effectively for future reference and team collaboration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in developing wake word detection models from scratch.

• Strong background in machine learning and deep learning techniques applied to speech recognition.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.

• Experience with speech recognition frameworks and tools (e.g., Kaldi, Mozilla DeepSpeech, Google Speech-to-Text).

• Familiarity with database management systems, particularly MongoDB.

• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and understanding of intent recognition models.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
