Description:
Our ideal candidate is an Architectural/BIM Technician understands architectural processes and timelines and is a problem-solver that thrives in a team environment. This role requires the candidate to adapt quickly and effectively to resolve project issues and requirements that arise at any stage of the project’s progression. Keen focus on maintaining exceptional quality and time management across all projects/tasks.
Responsibilities:
- 3D Digital modelling fluency specifically with Revit and a general understanding of BIM workflow is a must.
- Extensive knowledge of 3D modelling, presentation and design software
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 is a plus
- Experience with Navisworks clash detection workflow is a plus
- Rendering including composition, lighting, material creation.
- Post processing using Photoshop, Illustrator and other software programs. Animation experience is a plus.
- Working as part of a design team on live projects and early-stage design
- Offer critical thinking on how to best illustrate a project ideas digitally and by hand sketches
- Development and compilation of presentation materials
- Understanding of architectural drawing and production processes
- Ability to draft and assemble construction drawings/details
- Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines.
- Competence in working within a fast-paced, collaborative design environment.
- Ability to receive direction and work under a Project Lead Designer to complete and augment an overall design direction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills – English
- Professional experience in an Architect’s office
Requirements
- Accredited Professional or Graduate degree in Architecture with at least 2 years professional experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Proficiency with design and rendering software: Revit, Twin motion, AutoCAD (Additional software knowledge including Enscape, Vray, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro are a plus)
- Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take design direction, feedback, and observations with a positive attitude.
