Application Security Engineer

Tekboox US base IT company urgently looking to hire experienced Application Security Engineer.

Job Responsibilities

• Vulnerability Assessment & Management

• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on web applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Identify and document vulnerabilities, risks, and potential exploits.
• Work with the development team to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Validate fixes to ensure vulnerabilities have been resolved.

• Penetration Testing

• Conduct manual and automated penetration tests to simulate real-world attacks.
• Develop comprehensive reports detailing testing methods, findings, and recommendations.
• Provide guidance to teams to improve security posture.

• Threat Modeling & Risk Assessment

• Conduct threat modeling exercises to identify potential attack vectors and risks.
• Evaluate applications for adherence to security standards and frameworks.

• Incident Response

• Assist in responding to security incidents related to application vulnerabilities.
• Provide post-mortem analysis and recommendations for preventing future incidents.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field .
• 3to4 years Proven experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of applications.
• Strong understanding of web application security principles and . penetration testing tools
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certifications or trainings CEH Practical, eCPPT, CompTIA Pentest, PNPT. Good to have OSCP
