Application Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for an Application Engineer at Synergy Technologies. The Application Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as technical support, software development. The role involves working on diverse and challenging projects to ensure performance and dependability of engineered solutions.Engineers are encouraged to apply and explore the opportunity by becoming part of a highly professional team of technical gurus and installation experts, where solving day to day problems is fun and a learning experience in itself.

ENGINEERING GRADUATE Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics or Computer Engineering. Experience in the relevant field will be given weightage. However fresh Graduates are highly encouraged to apply as there is no minimum requirement of the experience for this beginner level role.

HIGHLY MOTIVATED INDIVIDUAL Eager to learn every day and solve logical problems and able to implement solutions with the given equipment. Remember that ample training will be provided during the probation period.

STRONG COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS Candidate must have to communicate with clients at certain events in the life cycle of a project and communication is the key so we are looking for a person with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

STRONG LOGIC DESIGN AND ALGORITHM WRITING SKILLS Regardless of the programming language; candidate should be able to make logical designs and implement algorithms to solve daily problems of the client using provided equipment. Remember syntax is not the problem here, logic building and finding the solution is. Teaching you to implement that logic is what we'll do to give you a kick start.

COMPUTER NETWORKS AND BASIC PROGRAMMING In this modern world where AI and Internet of Things (IoT) has taken over almost every field, automation also strongly relies on the communication networks. We expect you to have clear concepts of basic computer networks and very basic know how of programming languages (C,C++,C# etc.). Candidate should be able to do basic communication operations such as verification and up/down status of host and client devices, transmit and receive control commands using Telnet and other communication interfaces. An ideal candidate should have knowledge of integrable interfaces and the mediums used to integrate different devices with other systems used in modern day automation.

SIGNAL PROCESSING AND CIRCUIT READING Audio Visuals and home automation strongly relies on the control signals to connect to and control daily use devices in any household from a basic TV to an advanced level Lighting Control processor. We expect candidate has strong knowledge of DSP as well as Analog Signal processing to some extent. An ideal candidate should be able to read basic circuitry for implementation of new and troubleshooting of the already installed systems.

DIGITAL LOGIC DESIGN AND ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS. Being an engineer we expect you posses knowledge of digital logic design components such as logical gates and basic understanding of electronics components used in logical circuits such as integrated circuits (ICs) etc.
