Key Responsibilities:

• Performing mathematical and actuarial calculations to prepare data for analysis and review for life insurance companies
• Carrying out actuarial reserving, pricing and forecasting for general and health insurance companies
• Conducting a wide range of research and evaluation studies that address non-routine actuarial and financial problems
• Documenting work processes, products, methods and findings for technical and non-technical audience
• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned

What Are We Looking For:

• University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer Science.
• Demonstrated commitment to become Associate/Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or Society of Actuaries or Casualty Actuarial Society.
• Progress with actuarial exam, minimum 1 paper passed.
• Internship or demonstrated working knowledge of insurance business
• Ability to pick up new concepts and systems quickly
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Word is required. Basic understanding of R/SPSS would be advantageous.
