Accounts Officer

 

Description:

AL FALAH CHEMICALS is seeking an Accounts Officer to manage financial data entry, maintain accounting records, and support daily financial operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the taxation and audit teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data entry in accounting software and maintain accurate records.
  • Update both manual and computer-based ledgers.
  • Maintain Day-To-Day Expenses Ledger and Sales & Purchase Journal.
  • Prepare Bank Reconciliations and Daily Bank Position Report.
  • Assist senior staff in audit processes.
  • Communicate with the taxation team to resolve any issues that may affect financial results.
  • Review and post daily accounting transactions.

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience with accounting software and ledger management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
