Accounting Assistant

 

Description:

As an Accounting Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in managing various accounting tasks and duties, including meticulous data entry. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with popular cloud-based accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, etc.) is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounting processes for bank and credit card transactions
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts efficiently
  • Prepare comprehensive financial records and reports
  • Generate financial reports such as pro formas and balance sheets
  • Ensure accuracy in balancing accounts payable and receivable ledgers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, finance, or related field
  • Current student or completed certification in ACCA/CA/ACMA/CIMA
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and cloud-based accounting software
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to commute/relocate to Lahore
