Accountant Import & Export

Description:

Agile is seeking an experienced Accountant for Import & Export who will play a key role in managing financial operations and import/export-related accounting tasks. The successful candidate will work with Odoo ERP for monthly financial statements, manage payroll processing, handle communication with banks, freight forwarders, clearing agents, and principals, and ensure smooth logistics for imports. Responsibilities:

• Prepare Monthly Financial Statements using Odoo ERP.
• Assist in the filing of annual Income Tax returns and audits.
• Handle the entire cycle of Payroll Processing, including data compilation, calculations, and disbursement approvals.
• Manage communications with banks regarding LC issuance, acceptance of import documents, and other treasury matters.
• Coordinate with the Principal for procurement of raw materials, from RFQ to PO processing, material shipment, and payments.
• Work with freight forwarders and clearing agents for logistics of ex-works FCL shipments and clearance at Karachi port.
• Compute the landed cost for imported raw materials.

Qualifications:

• BBA/MBA in a relevant field.
• 4 to 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong proficiency in Odoo ERP.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary range: 80k-90k
