Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will organize and structure our accounts according to international accounting standards, manage payables and receivables, organize our previous accounts, and support the financial health of the agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and structure accounts according to international accounting standards.
- Organize and update previous accounts.
- Maintain and update accounting records and files.
- Analyze budgets and create financial forecasts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide support for the financial planning and analysis process.
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
